You have to Stop Eating just for Peer Pressure
Are you on a diet? Do you want to have a healthy lifestyle?, then you probably deal with some peer pressure to eat foods that are not good for you or are junk. But if you want , there are ways to avoid the peer pressure. You just need to learn a some simple tricks to get people off your back.

Parties can be a major source of peer pressure, especially when alcohol is served. But you must remember that alcohol contains hundreds of empty calories per drink. When you go to a party and your friends are pressuring you to have a drink to relax it can be difficult to say no. But if you offer to be the designated driver and take them to a bar, people won’t want you to drink. In fact, they will probably buy you water or soda and maybe even help pay for your gas. It’s a win-win situation for everyone. You may also feel pressured to eat at work when the boss orders lunch for everyone at a meeting or when you have to meet with a client. Instead of giving in to temptation, politely decline the food by letting your boss know in advance that you’re on a diet. Or you can order a healthy meal and split it in half so you have some for tomorrow’s lunch, too.

Baby showers, weddings, birthday parties and other special events can also wreak havoc on your diet, even if you are good at resisting temptation on your own. When someone hands you a piece of cake it can be difficult to know how to avoid eating it without hurting their feelings. A little white lie might be appropriate in these circumstances.

For instance, saying that your stomach was upset earlier in the day will convince them that you don’t want to eat right now or pretending to have a chocolate allergy will get people to leave you alone so you can enjoy the party without a hassle about food.

Refusing bad foods is fine, but you should focus on eating healthy foods for your body. If not, very dangerous bad eating habits could develop and also eating disorders, which will give you, your friends and your doctor a real reason to worry. It’s fine to say no to peer pressure, but don’t say no to food good food.
